Soul Searching Soul

I have been a
soul searching soul
all my life.

Many people feel that life is a battle.
They seek contentment and peace in the frantic
accumulation of material possessions.
(Or they fight their lives
instead of going with the flow.)

I have always, even as a child,
known that there is more to life
than the things that can be
touched, seen and tasted.

It has been a long and amazing journey to
here.

I have had many guides and teachers.
Sometimes they accompanied me for
long and strenuous miles,
sharing much laughter and many tears,
helping me through the storms of life,
sometimes they touched my life for
only a brief, soul-felt moment.

Some are with me still,
some have moved on.

My soul has forgotten none of them.


And now I am

here.

What is here?

Here
is the realisation
that I am (we all are)
a piece of God.

Here
is the realisation
that I create the situations
I need for growth in my life.

Here
is the realisation
that I alone am responsible
for the beautiful,
sometimes difficult
journey
called my life.

Here
is the realisation
that the more genuine
LOVE
I give to the world,
the more I get.

Here
is the realisation
that I am content.
At peace with myself.
I have come home.
