Words - 1998
Words change their meanings the way emotions do.
Love at 20, love at 40, love at 60.
In each period it is a different emotion,
has a different meaning.
On the surface the word remains the same.
Underneath, like a volcano, it changes over the years.
If we're lucky.
Because it is when we do not change (grow)
that life and love become meaningless (words).
An endless rerun of what has been before.
And reruns are soul-destroying.
We need to remember that we are the directors,
are in control of what we do.
We are the designers of our lives.
And words are the patterns we use.
Words.
